For what and for whom we work
in the Documentation Sciences Foundation?

An international non-profit organization, proclaimed as social benefit organization, recognised by ORDEN CUL/718/2005 on the 24th of February and registered with the Registry of Foundations of the Spanish Cultural Ministry with number 639 (B.O.E. 23/03/2005).

Mission

The mission of the Documentation Sciences Foundation is the creation, promotion and development of all types of activities related to the documentation and information in whatever medium to generate changes in the Society.

Beneficiaries

The marginalised
The beneficiaries of the Documentation Sciences Foundation include all members of society, specifically the children, women, the unemployed, students, the elderly, immigrants, former drug dependents, gipsies or the handicapped who for economic reasons or whatever type of reasons are marginalised in the access and use of information.

Institutions
Likewise, institutions, public or private, that want to manage effectively their information to generate knowledge in a competitive and socially useful way will also benefit from the Foundation.

The Foundation has two head quarters in Spain, social in Extremadura and another prosecutor - administrative in Madrid.
