Official logo of the International Congress on Information and Human Rights
The logo of the International Congress on Information and Human Rights, organized by the Foundation for a Culture of Peace and Documentation Sciences Foundation, was presented to the Spanish media on Thursday, February 4.
The logo, designed by Juan Jose Barcenilla, has been selected over other logos submitted to the competition held in December last year by the organizers of the event.
The event is open to all individuals and institutions including political entities, those devoted to information, communication and documentation sciences, Information Technologies, as well as those related to Human Rights, in any area of the world, regardless of their ideologies or beliefs.
Agreement with the Association for Civil Rights of Argentina
The Association for Civil Rights of Argentina, represented by its Executive Director, Mr. Alvaro Herrero, and the Documentation Sciences Foundation, represented by its President Mr Jose Raul Vaquero Pulido, have signed an cooperation agreement to carry out activities of general interest, principally to ensure the fundamental rights of individuals, based on respect for the Constitution and democratic values.
Agreement with the National Archive of Ecuador
The National Archive of Ecuador, represented by its Executive Director Mrs. Grecia Vasco de Escudero, and the Documentation Sciences Foundation, represented by its President Mr Jose Raul Vaquero Pulido, have signed an cooperation agreement in public interest activities, with special attention to all those connected with the information recorded in any medium for that through its knowledge will generate changes in society.
Through this agreement, the National Archive of Ecuador is formally integrated into the Consortium of National Archives launched by the Documentation Sciences Foundation and the Centre for Advanced Tecnologies of Extremadura (CETA-CIEMAT) with the mission to compete for grants that allow Research, Development and Innovation projects (R + D + i) at the National Archives at international level.
